This page has been completely updated.  Hector Haralambous leads a Borges Illustration Project with the graduate students of the Department of Illustration and Art of The Book at the Vakalo School of Art and Design (Greece).

This page constitutes the hight of photographic art on Borges' texts. Don't miss it. Photographs by Sean Kernan. Texts by Jorge Luis Borges. The printed edition is also available. By kindness of the author, you can also download this program and use it as a borgesian screen-saver

Some of the best documents (manuscripts, first editions, covers, pictures) by and about Borges . They belong to Jorge, Marion and NicolÁs Helft, a well-known family of art collectors in Buenos Aires.

A graphic presentation (with texts in Spanish) of the CD-Rom produced by Helft & Ferro and edited by La Nación. The most beautiful and exciting multimedia work of Borges-art ever done.

Link to the special part of "The Garden of Forking Paths", by Allen Ruch, containing his own graphics works : another kind of "Variations" about some of borgesian themes. (Go to the link and click "images")

A remarkable painter, inspired in Borges' work.
"Why did I dedicate this exhibition to Jorge Luis Borges? Because he is my favourite writer. Why is he my favourite writer? Because he, among others showed me how to appreciate life."

This page contains "like that" some other pictures about Borges. And please, if you are artist, or if you own some beautiful images, don't hesitate to send them to be published in this site.

Art is also (and perhaps first of all) music. Here is a review (published by Variaciones Borges) of a disc of contemporary music:"La rosa profunda" composed by Martín Matalon (IRCAM)
